Dear WINKS Supporters,


Thanks to your continued support, WINKS has made remarkable strides in 2024, advancing our mission and providing essential support for brain tumor patients and their families. Here are some key highlights from this year:


  • $22,500 in grants distributed through Empathy in Action (EIA) Grants and Transportation Grants, helping families cover critical living and medical expenses.
  • 177 Brain Tumor Power Packs (BTPPs) delivered to newly diagnosed patients, providing them with vital resources and information to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Our Encouraging Nods Brain Tumor Support program continues to grow, offering quarterly support groups and peer-to-peer support for those navigating the challenges of a brain tumor diagnosis.
  • Over 15 local and national partnerships that have enabled us to expand the reach of our services and make a broader impact.

Bringing together Brain Tumor Patients and Caregivers to support one another through compassion, shared experiences, and understanding, helping each other navigate emotional challenges.

Terrelle Bradshaw Empathy in Action Grant

Terrelle "Terri" Bradshaw, a retired Naval Officer, a woman of strength and dignity, and a loving mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in November 2015 and fought the good fight until October 2016.


Contributions made to the nonprofit in tribute to Terri will be awarded to a brain tumor patient or caregiver of a military family in financial need.
