WINKS has given $45,000 in Empathy in Action grants, urgent funds requests, and Brain Tumor Power Packs.
Unlike some illnesses, people can go a lifetime without knowing a brain tumor patient, as the likelihood of a malignant brain tumor diagnosis is less than 1%. Unfortunately, because people give to causes close to their heart, it can be difficult to rally support. WINKS, with your support, can help shift that dynamic.
Dear WINKS Supporters,
Thanks to your support, WINKS has made great strides this year in advancing our mission, increasing our capacity to support brain tumor patients, and achieving financial sustainability. Below are some of the highlights in 2023:

" The Winks from God Brain Tumor Support Group was and continues to be a lifeline for me. "
" Many times people say "I know what you are going through. " They really DON'T know!! Winks from GOD not only knows what you are going through, they have been (You). Winks from GOD is a One Stop Shop for Resources."
I heard about Winks from God 1 1/2 years after being diagnosed. Until then, I never felt more alone, even though I have the support of my boyfriend, family and friends. Since attending meetings, Sam is a VERY important part of my life and I feel like I have purpose again!
We are building a nonprofit focused on helping brain tumor patients and caregivers. With the help of volunteers, we can build an organization to meet our needs. We're excited to have you join the team!
